well, i am not picky.. it can be a comedy too, but i am talking bout those movies that make you say "man, that was the best movie ever".. movies that kinda give meaning to your life.. that you can re-see again and again without getting bored... know what i mean? if u do, then go right ahead and answer my question :)

These are just my personal favorites:

Comedy:
Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Airplane!, Brain Donors, Animal Crackers, Major League, Caddyshack

Drama:
From Here to Eternity, The Manchurian Candidate, Dog Day Afternoon, Casino, Goodfellas, Reservoir Dogs, The Phonebooth, Ronin, True Romance

SciFi:
Chronicles of RIddick, Serenity, Robocop, The Core (yeah cheesy but I loved it) Aliens, The Fly (remake), Signs, Silent Running, Planet of the Apes

Horror:
The Exorcist, Dawn of the Dead, I Spit on Your Grave, Last House on the Left, The Ring, Saw, Hostel, Poltergeist, Halloween

Remeber the Titans. It is a fact based movie. And the actors & Acting were great.
Radio is also a great fact based movie. Amd a real heart wrencher.

well these movies arent exactly comedy. in 2007 there is a movie called "next". stars nicholas cage and julianne moore and jessica biel. sort of like the butterfly effect. (if you havent seen it,rent it.) october a movie called pulse is coming out. supposed to be really good.
