Yep. Religion aside (I'm a devout athiest), everything seems to work out OK in the end. Just couple of examples -
Tried to join the Navy when I was 18. Wanted to go in as an officer, so had to have a definite place in Uni and sign up for 12 years minimum. Didn't get in due to lack of Uni place. Instead went to Polytechnic, started a degree, had a great time and learnt some invaluable life lessons. Left in second year and got job as trainee pub manager. Loved the job, by missed family and home (job was over 300 miles from home). Realised it wouldn't have been so easy to do if in Navy, so felt more positive about getting not getting in. Then 3 years later met the love of my life, my wife (wouldn't of happened if I was in the Navy).
Went through three years of fertility treatment, nothing seemed to worked until we had artificial insemination in March 1998. This failed, we lost the baby at 20 weeks, was understandably devasted, but even got a positive out of this - the pregnancy (or more accurately the length of the pregnancy, so we were told by the consultant) solved our infertility problems - something to do with the hormones flying through my wife's system during the 20 weeks) and we now how two GORGEOUS children, 1 girl and 1 boy. Got a job I love, a home I love, good health, a fairly good joint income and a family I would die for. I couldn't ask for anything better. I firmly believe that if you can take anything life throws at you, if it doesn't kill you, it makes you a better and stronger person.

Yes. Other peoples negativity and unbelievable defeatest puffy attuitudes continually show me how my optimistic attitude prevails. (Just takes a little strength sometimes).
