yeah, mozart composed the song when he was 4. and then several hundred years later it was transposed to english and then they made the alphabet song out of it. mozart is one of the greatest composers of all time!

LOL, I never realized that... maybe it's a kids thing..
it gets them to learn the alphabet irregardless what is actually being sung. LOL or it puts them to sleep in school.

wow, i guess i never realized that either. I suppose because it is a simple melody that kiddos can learn quickly. My two year old can sing both.
