The bill of rights are the first 10 ammendments to the U.S. Constitution. If you go to the site listed below you can see all of them. Keep in mind that when they were written, they only applied to 'citizens' which at the time were only white, male and land owning. Slaves, servants and women were not granted these liberties. Also, the government has the right to evoke these liberties if they have just cause.

It is a myth that the Bill of Rights gave us rights.. it actually took them away... anything not listed was taken away.

the Bill of Rights should have been written for the Government instead of the people... ex: the govt has the right to tax to a maximum of 15% of a person's income.. etc.
