I guess I could do the math, but I would rather just ask you.

One minute = 60 seconds
One hour = 60 minutes
One day = 24 hours
One year = 365.25 days
One decade = 10 years

Multiply it all together and you'll get 315576000 seconds in a decade. 30 of mine have been wasted answering this question.

normally 315532800; 60X60X24X365X10, however, there are usually two leap years within a decade, which adds two more days. however, depending on when the decade lands, there may be more or less seconds in that specific decade. for example, if you were talking about the decade of 2001 to 2011, then that would have 315532800 seconds, 2 leap years. however, if we were talking about the decade 1889 to 1909 that would only have 315446400 because, the year 1900 was not a leap year.
there are three parts to the rule for leap years. the rule goes: a leap yer occurs every four years; except if that year is divisible by 100; except if that year is divisible by 400. so, the year 1900 was not a leap year, because it was divisible by 100 and not 400. however, the year 200 was a leap year because it is divisible by 100 and 400.

It depends on how many leap years the decade has, 2 or 3?

60 seconds X 60 minutes X 24 hours X 365.25 days X 10 years

The 365.25 is for leap years, but if you're not into that much precision, use 365.

Presuming the decade contains no more than 2 leap days the answer is: 315,532,800

Tricky. If all years would be normal (365 days, not leap years) then you have 315360000 secs. but then you hav to add 86400 secs for everyday in a 366 days year. there only can be 3 or 2 more days

It depends on which decade and how many leap years. Assuming that there are 2 leap years, then there would be 315,532,800.

If there are 3 leap years, then 315,619,200.
