Because this is the World Cup!
Too many ppl expect to see their teams winning and playing at their best: that never happens, because what counts is to advance to the next step and sometimes the result it is more important than the "nice play". Did Brasil play well the first two games? No, but they won and they advanced... this is soccer!

i agree, argentina is not playing great like I am used to seeing them play. I beleive it's because of there oponet Mexico who is very good and one of Mexico's strikers who is also one of the world's best strikers Borgetti. Borgetti seems to be causing Argentina a lot of problems as the lone forward. However being an Argentina fan I definatly think Argentina will win.

Because they are not as good as they were making out to be. England would tear them apart, Portugal will tear them apart.... Germany, Italy, Switzerland would tear them apart, YOU WILL SEE... Phew, what a relief... thank you Mexico for showing us what the Argentina team is worth... not exactly much, LOL

Argentina peaked too early, they threw all their best players forward, and saved nothing for the knockout stages. Mexico were able to gage who played where, and how they played, and mark the player accordingly.
