And I don`t know which color of the eyeshadow is appropriate for the summer either!

always use a base below your eyeshadows. I have atrick to get makeup to stay in place during the summer. Well, i guess it couldnt hurt if I told you. Place a dab of concealer on your eyelids then apply your eyeshadows. Try to use bright colors during the summer. If your makeup god forbid smears (though it wouldnt with my trick), you wont notice it. Also for mascaras and eyeliners, go with bobbi brown waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Works like a dream!!!GL :)

Try using a base so that your eyeshadow doesn't melt. I really like Mary Kay's eyeshadow base (MK Signature Eye Primer), but Chanel and Lancome also have very good ones that will help your eyeshadow stay put all day! As for colors, I tend to go lighter during the summer. I don't use eyeliner during the day - just a nice shade of pink or light brown. You can also use a pretty white or a pale blue, although I don't tend to use these myself as they remind me too much of high school. Still, a nice soft white applied lightly, maybe with a bit of a shimmer, can look very lovely and summery.

The key is to stay light. If you're going out for a night out on the town you can always add an eyeliner or a darker eyeshadow to make your eyes look more defined or "smokey".

Makeup seems superfluous during the summer -- but our eyes do seem to blank out. You can get permanent colour for your eyelashes -- your beautician can dye them for you, and suggest the colours that would do the most for you. You can also have your eyebrows dyed, if they need it. You might want to skip the eyeshadow for the summer, as it tends to melt and run into the creases around your eyes, accentuating things that you'd rather not have highlighted!
There is also a permanent lip colour available. Again, your beautician can spell it out for you, but it's like a tattoo, only it doesn't last forever. I know, they call it permanent, but it isn't. I think it's good for about six months, which takes you nicely through the summer, swim, sun and surf seasons.

I would stay away from applying a lot of makeup in the summer it gives you a less even tan. I use mascara and bronzer that is all you need in the day time. At night I would suggest using a wet foundation and then a powder plus you regular makeup to make it stick better so it doesn't melt.

For summer less is always better. But use a waterproof mascara and natural color tones. That way if they do melt you wont look sloppy. Stick to gloss and brozer, too! Those are error proof!

Lancome mascara is the best. I no longer check during the day for mascara all over my face (during summer, and I tend to rub my eyes from seasonal allergies).
