This is not a desktop icon that responds to right click. It is foreign from norm and picked up by mistake

Try going to control panel and see if it was some kind of desktop bug that can be uninstalled.

If it lets you highlight it (by just a simple 1 click), hit delete on your keyboard.

Also, try moving it to your trash can.

I would also recommend downloading a program like Ad-Aware from www.downloads.com and running a quick spyware session.

if it won't delete by clicking it off the desk top you can go into search and type the name in the blank space click ok and when it comes up delete it from there or try your add and remove, good luck

If you are using a PC
Show Desktop
Right Mouseclick - "Properties"
Desktop tab
Browse to a different picture
"OK"

Start Menu -> Run
Type "cmd"
At the command line:

cd c:\Documents and Settings\\Desktop
del
