depends on if you want the video to veiw or just the music.if just the music go with a cheaper mp3.but if you want the video then go and get it if you want.

With a bit more hassle but a LOT less expensive why not just get a portable DVD player? they have pretty small ones now. You just have to pack a dvd or two with it. At least you don't have to convert to the iPod video format or download or crazy stuff to get a decent movie to watch.

NO! if you get a video ipod get a 60 gig because the 30s have hardly any battery life. i bought one and it went like 3 hours until it needed rechargeing. its not worth the money!

hell yeah i got the exact same one a 30gb. something that also comes with it is a charger for the car so if your ipod runs out of battery you can charge it in the car.

why not? If you travel alot it is the perfect traveling companion.Take pictures and put them on your ipod so you will alwayhs have space on your camera

I think so,you can put movies or ya fav music vids or just plain ole music...I have a smaller one and totally enjoy it

hell yeah...i love my ipod...it goes everywhere with me. it's sooo amazing when it comes to traveling. i don't know what i'd do without it!
