go cart kill switch cuts out the engine even if the switch is on or off how can i fix this?

All a small engine kill switch does is ground out the power to the spark plug so, buy a new switch. If that is not the prob, you have a short in your wire somewhere

a kill switch "on" will not let the engine start
if you are having a problem with yours. you need to go back to the place that originally installed it
if you are not the original owner or place is out of business
look in yellow pages for a reputable place to fix yours
