YES!!!! Simply by pegging you as a felon, then you have no right to vote, own a gun or any other type of personal defense device, hold a decent job,.Most people tagged as CONVICTED FELONS were not convicted of anything. They simply did not have the money or resources to fight the accusers in court, and had to take a plea agreement.I personally know of three families that have been persecuted by the govt this way.So yes they can take your right of being a CITIZEN away.As one F.B.I. agent stated,, everyone in the U.S. that is not part of the sys. is a felon, it just takes a little while to get you in the computer.

I don't see how the US Government can take away your citizenship, but those 7 idiots in Miami who wanted to help al queda commit cowardly acts of terror should have their ball$ cut off instead.

yes they technically can, though since 1967 the supreme court (Afroyim vs Rusk) made it fairly difficult, you generally would have to join enemy forces, or personally renounce your citizenship. Most world bodies however would still consider you a citizen of your birth country, if you were without a nationality.

It's almost impossible to lose U.S. citizenship without renouncing it in writing.

Not legally, according to our constitution. But, of course the government thinks they own us, so who could stop them?
They may label you a traitor and kill you, instead.
