I love to read and can find mistakes and can ususally tell within an hour or less if the book is any good..Does anyone know of such a job where you can stay at home while reading,etc..

Most people expect editors and proofreaders to have post-secondary education in English, Journalism or Professional Writing. However, the following links may help. If you're an editor of non-fiction, you'll also need an extensive background in the area you are editing (see the third link). Good luck.

Really? You can find mistakes? Not by what I can see.

You will have to ask them individually. You can get a list from the Writer's Market or look up publishers or agents online. Another good place to look for Agencies is Preditors or Editors. You need to compose a query letter and enclose a one-page resume.

No really becasue they all proof read their books before they have it in there companies.

All of them employ proof readers. You will have to ask them if they are hiring.
