"Will you vote for a Republican or Democrat for Congress in 2006?"
Let's see:
CNN D 45 R 38
FOX D 46 R 33
USA D 51 R 36
That's an average lead in the polls of 10.3% and that middle poll is from FOX news, and that's the one with the highest lead for the Dems.
If Dems are in the toilet, Reps are in the sewer.
Oh, and Speedrfreak:
The real average tax rate after deductions that are already included in existing laws is 18.8% on those estates that are taxed. There are also existing deductions for family farms and small businesses. Many of the deductions taken are based on donations to charities.
The Congressional Budget Office also found that in 2000, charitable donations from estates would have been reduced by $25 BILLION, and amount that exceeds all Corporate Charitable donations for the same year.
The Paris Hilton Tax Relief Bill will, according to the non-partisan Center for Budget and Policy reduce revenues by $290 billion between 2010 & 2015.
As everyone knows, the only people effected by this tax are the richest 2% - this is in no way, shape, or form the average American. It is not the average small business owner, nor is it the average American farmer.
You and your ilk are the ones spreading myths about the tax. Not the Democrats.

We should certainly flush their ridiculous idea that when you are successful and die, they are entitled to more than 1/2 of your estate (hard-earned assets). Forget the limits, that is blatant confiscation of personal property, a violation of one's freedom, and sets a very dangerous precedent.
I am disgusted by the Democrat's tax policy. It is so misguided and self-destructive and they don't even have the wisdom to recognize that. Very sad indeed.
By the way, tax cuts "for the rich" have led to significant increases in tax revenues. (>10%). This type of result just does not compute in the simple minds of Cingressional Democrats.
They just ignore the truth and spin their propoganda to get elected. Fanning the flames of class warfare all the while.

Perhaps some far-left liberal Democrats would volunteer to be flushed down the toilet so they can heroically rescue that missing copy of the Koran.

Funny. The (CANCER)vative party wants to say bad words. Ooohhh. Real offended. Well, while you're thinking of what new things you can do to Bush, he's thinking about (gasp) nothing! Our brave soldiers are dying in Iraq for a terrorist hiding in Tora Bora, Osama bin Laden. And what about what's going down in Africa? Russia? What about China? Hell, your own country?
That's the Regressive, Reich Wing, Neo Cancervative Repugs for you.

The strength of our country is because we have at least two political views to help our government operate. The way to change things is to use the system. Run for office, gather support, decide what to improve, and work tirelessly to accomplish it. It is a long view solution, but the only one that makes any sense. Good luck.
