I'm just curious if that is still big deal in the US. If you do it here in our country, it will spread like fire to up to 5miles away.

It will draw attention, but there are so many people on the streets in New York that they wouldn't really stick out in the crowd.

If this happened in San Francisco or West Hollywood, it would be a normal day!

You don't see it much, really, anywhere else. It's too dangerous.
Some people in the USA are quite hateful.

I doubt that New Yorkers even pay attention to that type of thing anymore, they seem to be a foward thinking city rather than some of the other cities around this country.

It depends on what part of New York or any other major city. In a smaller town, it will always draw whispers. To what country are you referring?
Have a pleasant day.

not realy, i mean you wont have people pointing at you yelling at the top of their lungs, "look at those gays" . in most cities that i have been too it isnt a BIG deal, there are some people that stare but they arent realy rude about it most of the time. But in some small towns in the us it does draw a ton of attantion and there are some towns that are homophobic, i grew up in one like that....I swear i must have been the only gay guy in a 50 mile radius of the town......

These days a guy and a girl holding hands causes more attention.

I grew up in New York, and that was not unusual to see back in the '70's or '80's. I can't imagine it now.

Nah it really wouldn't draw attention. And it *especially* won't draw attention this week! Yay for NYC PRIDE WEEK '06! Parade is tomarrow! Woo hoo!

You asked if "you" saw two gay men kissing would it draw attention. Well I guess that depends on if YOU draw attention to it. If you just glance and keep going..no attention drawn. You see it and stare and go like "OH MY GOD THESE TWO MEN ARE KISSING" well of COURSE that's going to draw attention.
