The Venetian. It is perfectly centered and absolutely gorgeous. Whilst the Bellagio is nice, I found that it was too busy though, as there were queues in the main casino of people waiting to see the shows.

The Venetian had superb service, is absolutely spectacular and is an all-suite hotel! The prices were very good and the La Scena bar on the casino floor was fantastic - one of the best my husbands and i saw.

As we knew we would be coming back to vegas, we checked all of the other hotels out whilst we were there, but cou;dn't find one better that The Venetian.

The Paris has weird lighting on the casino floor which gave us a headache, ceasers palace was too busy because of people passing through to shop at the forum shops, the Bellagio i have already mentioned. Mandalay Bay was very nice, but too far up the strip. Trasure Island had many kids there.

The Venetian shops are not croweded and it tended to feel as though you were coming home when you went back of an evening.

The location is superb, it is oppsite a bus stop and the hotel next door leads through to the monorail.

Im lived in Vegas and worked at the Mirage, so Im biased to the MGM properties. Bellagio of course being the nicest, you also have NYNY and Exaclibur and MGM Grande right in the heart of the strip and are the most centrally located. Mirage is nice as well as Treasure Island. Luxor is at the end and Mandalay Bay beside it is really nice, has the largest out door wave pool and you can swim with the dolphins.

I stayed at Caesars and while the rooms are nice, I had to change my room 3 times during my stay. The toilet in 2 of the rooms didnt work and the jacuzzi tub in those 2 rooms kept spitting out this black stuff in the jets. I know the water from Lake Mead is dirty and you get a residue no matter where you are, but the jets were filthy. Bally's was ok, not my fave, the casino was less desirable than any of the MGM places I stayed at.

The main thing is it depends on what you are looking for. You really are not going to be spending much time in the room other than to sleep. Weekday rates you can get a room at most of them for under $100. It just depends on your taste and how much you want to spend. The higher rates are going to be at Mandalay Bay, Bellagio and Caesar's as well as the Venetian and Wynn.

Go to all of their websites and take a virtural tour of each. If you can't decide, make a list and randomly select one. No matter where you stay on the strip you will have a great time.

www.vegas.com has a map of the strip so you can see where things are located for where you want to be.

the final motels to save funds and be good on the strip may be Imperial Palace, Flamingo and Harrahs. yet differently to save is look into Hooters that's purely some steps off the strip and that they fee their rooms as though they have been some distance off the strip. in case you pass to here website and interior the top good hand nook of the website you will detect a seek engine for motels in Las Vegas. enter the dates you're questioning approximately and it will seek the full information superhighway for the final expenditures. Saves time and funds and makes it undemanding to examine. forget a automobile you may actual walk to anyplace you want alongside the strip. stay removed from the Sahara, Circus Circus, Riviera and Stratosphere. they're too some distance removed from the the remainder of the strip and could fee you lots greater effective in transportation.

BELLAGIO BELLAGIO BELLAGIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any questions? We just got back yesterday and it was amazing....If you want a romantic meal with all the beauty try the Prime at the Bell. It is spectacular, request a room on the water with a view of the fountains it was amazing. Sugggested reservations for that. I took my GF and ended up proposing to her and it was the perfect place and I like to think of myself as a perfectionist. After dinner try the Fontana Lounge up one level from the Prime it has a balcony that is center stage from the fountains with live music and a GREAT if not the best view of the mountains, it was magical and this is where I popped the question.

Hope this helps...

Bally's ... it is not too expensive, but the service and atmosphere is wonderful. You are close to everything and the casino is great. If you want to upgrade to other hotels later you can, but this is a great place to start a Las Vegas visit!

I stayed in the Monte Carlo which was really nice, reasonably priced. My friend & her husband stayed in the Venetian which was out of this world. I would also recommend The Mirage or MGM Grand.

I recently stayed at the Alladin. It was decent and reasonably priced. There is a big shopping mall attached that has every kind of store or restaurant you could want.
