The movies tend to show the ideals, not what actually happens. The reason behind all of this has something to do with the First Amendment to the US Constitution: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Seems odd to me that sex is seen as liberated. It's as natural as hunting and gathering. It has been oppressive religion and governments suppressing it and shedding a bad light on it. It is our most basic function, to procure the race. What is strange about Hollywood is that they can show someone getting shot in the head and no one blinks an eye, pop a nipple out though and watch out, the human race is in the crapper. hypocrites.

Gerald, it's not that teen Americans are so liberated. The teen movies are probably just financed by old, fat, balding guys who want something to drool over. It's not real life. (for your answer from Bill -- LOL)

Definately an exaggeration. The movies aren't liberated, just stupid. Most people, me included, aren't like that in the least.

Exaggerations. Hollywood has a sex addiction. I'm not sure if they're seeking medical help just yet.

Here's some news - you live in that same country.

sex in teen movies is the reality in America, regardless of how people decide to try and make it look...sex is overrated in America, because you see the sex and you don't realize the price that comes with it..you don't see in the movies the underage pregnant girls in America, you don't see the numbers of teenagers with sexually transmitted diseases, who are uneducated or not taught how take care of themselves.....you don't see the molestation and rape in families and in schools... don't believe the hype.. they fill our heads with crap and want us to think every thing's okay and we tell others that...and it is the same way with guns, murders and etc.....open your eye's America! open your eye's!
