maybe they will because they have the home ground advantage , in the past many teams have done well at home for example korea reached the semi-finals in 2002 and france won at home in 1998....etc...

I still have full faith in Germany. Today's game was just too easy, so they'll probably have to step it up a notch once they get to the semi-final round. As long as Ballack, Klose, Lahm, etc. can keep it up, they should be good.

Btw, Kahn doesn't play much; the main goalie is Lehmann, who is superb!

Sorry but I don't think so... Oliver Kahn is gettin' pretty old. If Michael Ballack performs well though, they might be able to take the cup!

i think they have a pretty good chance of winning. they haven't lost a match and are confident since they are the hosts.
