It should come under £1 -depending if the booklets inside are heavy, however, if valuable then send by Recorded Delivery.
Take a look on the Royal Mail website for a postal calculator. In August they are changing their postal structure, by charging more on size, rather than weight.

If your sending it within the UK by Royal Mail Recorded your looking at maybe £3.00. If its Airmail its usually around the £4.00 mark, all depending on the weight also.

Are u in the uk or other country?
In the usa you can check prices for international post on the us postal web site.
In the uk sending a dvd it shouldn't be more than £2.00
check royal mail to see if they do prices for weights

Postage is approx 70p, packaging depends on if you use an envelope or a jiffy bag.
