the problem is that you are using products containing mineral oil and alcohol and fragrances these all are very damaging for our skin's health.... mineral oil because it is an ingredient that is derivated form petroleum....it will be like using car oil and exposing your self to the sun in fact it is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin (1st thing will be the sun) using fragrances or chemicals or dyes are known irritants and can cause allergic reactions. what i use to shave my legs would be a face wash formulatted without these i have told you about ... it is called Nutrimin-C RE9 Face wash: look for it at the left margin under anti-aging.... I know it is a face wash but honestly it is great and leaves your skin smooth and shinny.... and after that you can put their body lotion fast without waiting for it will not give you a reaction or sting.... https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arbonnepuertorico.nsf/p1/1?OpenDocument&shoppingcart=1

Tea Tree oil. Or, propbably the best one for rashed, Body SHops Hemp Cream. I swear by hemp cream for any type of rash, prickly heat, kids nappy rash, shaving rash, even when i had chicken pox, it clears everything up so quick and you only need a little bit. And use shaving gel, not cream, when you shave. Also make sure you use a brand new razor each time. I suffer with this too sometimes and i is sooo embarassing if you are out for the evening and it suddenly itches!

Don't shave in the opposite direction that the hair grows.

If it grows "downward" you shave in that direction.

Don't turn the razor around so that you can get it super smooth to the skin. What happens is that when you shave in the other direction it shaves to closely to the skin that it cuts the surface of the skin, and then it seals over and the hair cannot escape and gets pushed into the skin. So you get the bumps as it grows out because the hair is trapped under the skin.

Use a gentle loofa type scrub to make the hair stand out when you shave, then use a lot of shaving cream and shave in the direction that the hair grows.

I had the same problem and even the creams were really bad too but then I tried Veet hair removing cream with Aloe Vera (in the green packet) and it was fab it burns a bit if you leave it on too long but i didn't get the rash at all when i was using this.

If you're feeling totally dedicated to it, i think you can get electrolysis, though i'm not too sure if they will do it in you're downtown regions.

Basically, if you don't know, they use needles to extract the hair folicles and prevent it growing back again. No doubt, it'll hurt, maybe for a few days, but then - Hair freedom!

Ask at a beauty salon or spa, though i'm unclear on whether it's available for that area.

Exfoliate every time you are in the shower. Or use a loofa to exfoliate the skin
