I want to zip a music file to send to someone in an email, but I only know how to UNzip.

Highlight the file, right-click on it, then choose "Send To", then click "Compressed (zipped) Folder"

You will need a program like Winzip to zip a file (www.winzip.com). if you alredy have winzip, just open it, then drag the files you want to email into the main program. When your finished, save if by going to file, then save. Then open you email progam/web page and click "attach files" or similar. then click browse and find the .zip file you saved. click ok and then your done. Thats it!

Right click the file or folder and highlight the sub-menu Winzip... then click add to zip file.


Btw, I prefer winrar.

this zip program will compress files much smaller than winzip

are you kidding ? select the music file , right click on it , select the add to ***.zip or ***.rar submenu . rest is pretty obvious ! good luck
