A pound is a pound. No matter if it's a 20 lb. bag of dog food or a 20 lb. bag of cotton balls. They both weigh 20 lbs.

Anyone have an idea how many feathers it takes to make up a pound? Perhaps if you tried using peacock feathers...........

Duh! A pound of iron! A pound of iron being the amount of iron you can buy with a pound (£). Which would weigh more than the amount of feathers you can buy with a pound.
