Dork is a slang word for a quirky and usually socially inept person, or one who is out of touch with contemporary trends
The etymology of the word has been attributed most commonly with the similarity to the word dick or dirk from the 1960s, but other theories are widely circulated:
The idea that it specifically refers to a whale's penis is generally regarded as true.
There may be an association between the modern usage, especially "dorky", and latchkey kid (also known as a "door key kid").
Nerd, as a stereotypical or archetypal designation, refers to somebody who pursues intellectual interests at the expense of skills that are useful in a social setting, such as communication, fashion, or physical fitness.
A geek (pronunciation /gi:k/ ) is a person who is fascinated, perhaps obsessively, by obscure or very specific areas of knowledge and imagination. Geek may not always have the same meaning as the term nerd (see nerd for a discussion of the disputed relation between the terms).

A dork doesn't have to be smart, in fact, they are usually categorized as such because their actions make them seem dumb. A nerd is a very smart person, usually who does well in their classes and is unpopular. A geek is the next level of nerd, an ueber-nerd, if you will.

Bill Gates is sometimes referred to as a Geek. With 50 Billion dollars, it says a lot for being a Geek.

A Geek is a person who is not nessacarily smart but looks a "geeky" and acts wierd.

a geek was originally a circus performer who bit the heads off of chickens, when i think of a dork i think of someone who is awkward or a loser, but when i think of a nerd i think of someone who is awkard or a loser but really good at one thing
