If i drive a car from LA to Vancouver, is there any cost ? and Do we have to have passport or some kind of visa ready for that...? thanks for helping me with the answer !! =)

You'll have to pay for gas, of course. If you're importing it into Canada, there may be customs duties and taxes to pay; you'll have to contact Candian customs for details.

You don't currently need a passport to enter Canada if you have proof of US citizenship or residency. You will need a passport in December when the rules change. I recommend a passport even now as it simplifies everything.
