We should send a large army to N. Korea and do a blitzkrieg, this way before they realize what hapened, we would have conquered them, and they would no longer be a threat. And their people would be free :)

Why should North Korea be allowed to test fire a missile with long range capabilities at the expense of their national security?
Do you think it is right for N. Korea to test fire a long range missile which may (or may not) be armed?
Do you realize that the missile would only take 30 minutes to reach the shores of California?
Why should the US sit back and allow any nation to threaten our national security?
The little man in North Korea has been throwing tantrums long enough. He has been holding his nation hostage for years at the expense of their own future. All he is attempting to do is blackmail the world into giving him more money and aid. But with that money and aid, he makes missiles for some imagined threat against his tired nation. If he wants to start it, we can certainly finish it.
Let him try.

Gee, don't you people ever think that we, the USA ever test missiles? Does anyone shoot down our tests? Are we gods amongst men? We are not the world police. I am pretty sure the UN is totally aware of these tests and have an opinion on them. We do not own the world.

OMG guys...theres no way Kim is sending up a satellite. I say sure blow up the missile when its launched. the only reason Kim has a missile is to use it against someone. Theres now way Bush can risk a US city being hit by a nuke. I say risk the confrontation.

This is the stupidest question and stupidest answer I ever heard..
Koreans my friends are no threat whatsoever..
what is a cheap missile test compared to the 12 000 thousand nukes
the US already have..
Don't look for threats or commence a war where there is none ok?

If the missile approaches US (or Japanese or South Korean) territory then it should of course be shot down. I don't really see how it would cause conforntation anymore than the initial firing of the missile would cause.

Yes we should shoot it down, We have the support of the six parties involved in talks, are you willing to let Japan have Nukes? China won't like it at all. Which city would you sacrifice? San Francisco? Chicago? If they shoot, we shoot.

Yes. Shooting a missle off is an agressive act. It's just one step away from starting a war. Why do they want to test a missle? So they can use a missle whenever they want too. You don't test something you don't intend to use.
