How do u send ppt presentations with sound files attached?

This is a repost of my question. I made a ppt presentation. It was composed of slides of old, good times that mean a lot to us. It was accompanied by a song that played throughout the slide show. It was lovely!
My problems started when I tried to send it as email. The pics went but the music file did not accompany them. Why?

I think the problem is that the sound file is referenced in you ppt as a link to file on your computer. If you could post it to your web site, so the link to the file has the http://www. beginning, it would be accessible to anyone on line.
