I didn't really have a problem with him until he started mouthing off about Brooke Shields and her postpartum depression, telling her it wasn't real. I'm not a Brooke Shields fan, but has Tom Cruise ever given birth?

He is a great actor and has many great movies under his belt. His porfolio is amazing. But, he needs to get over being Tom Cruise and get on with it.

I think Tom Cruise used to look good during his "Top Gun" days. But today I think he really sucks.

Flamer, self righteous, slick to get Katie Holmes I suppose, not the kind of person i would hang with, but really good actor in Top Gun and especially in Eyes Wide Shut...so sort of a mixed review from my view

I loved him in Born on the Fourth of July. But since then, my
opinion of him has waned. He could have been one of the great
cinema actors, with staying power that rivaled Clint Eastwood's, for example. But he blew it with the scientology
stuff. He had a good run, but the legend is over.

I also think he is a has been.
I liked him in his younger days but now with Katie and the baby and the Scientology.... I think he's a pompous know-it-all that I don't need to see on the big screen or tv anymore.

I try not to think of him.
I have enjoyed so many of his movies. He is a very good actor.
I feel sad now; I can never watch some of those movies again without thinking about his on camera antics and hypocrisy.

He's had some good movies and is an ok actor still but in real life he is a total creep. I don't get that whole scientology thing.

My favorite movie of his is Risky Business, his first commercial success. These days, I think that he's gone all weird on us. I usually love "quirky" people, but he's just WAAAY over the top. Yuck.
