First of all why Kings Island? Cedar Point is the best in Ohio or anywhere else. Look it up. The cheapest way to get tickets for amusement parks is through AAA. I live in Ohio and Kings Island isn't all it's cracked up to be.

One of the Ohio grocers, like Kroger, might have discount coupons that you can pick up in the stores before going to the gate. Also, AAA of Ohio shoulsd have discounted passes, if you're a member.
King's Island's website offers discounts for advance e-purchases. And sometimes Coke cans have discounts (especially for Six Flags parks).
