It would really depend on if you were contrcted or a direct employee. Iff you are contracted, no. If you aren't contracted it would depend on the verbal and written agreements on job description

If you want to work at that company, unless the job doesn't pay as much, in which case they lied to you. They can't force you to take the job, because if it's lower pay you can sue them after you claim unemployment...
