This take a couple of minutes to tell so hang in there.
When I was a Junior in high school(1970), I was on the prom committee. My parents were very strict and had not yet let me begin to date. I did the decorations for the prom and had no intentions of going without a date. My Daddy talked me into going. I did. Sat most of the night alone. Some guys took pity on me and asked me to fast dance, but no slow dances. Right before it was to end, the band announced one more dance(of course, it was a slow one). I was intending to leave. I started to get up when I heard the opening bars of "Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain" My Daddy always whistled that while working around the house. I sat back down and was looking at the floor when this pair of wingtip shoes came into view. I looked up and there stood my Daddy--all decked out in his Sunday best. He asked me to dance and we danced to his song.
I lost my Daddy almost 30 years ago. I can still feel the love he gave me every time I hear that song.

Dreamer! you know Life is always getting sweeter... :-)
It is sad for those who can identify their sweetest memory, they should seek so many they become lost in their sweet memories and then the world would be a better place!

Huddling under a blanket with my two little boys. We were on our porch during a storm, watching and marveling at the weather, the power, the smallness of ourselves and happy to be a part of it all. We were warm and safe and giggling, talking about all manner of things and feeling connected to each other. Magic.

My older brother used to wake me up for school by coming into my room and singing "Good Morning" from Singin' in the Rain. Seems as though I never had a bad day when I woke up to him singing.

Just lying next to my girlfriend(at that time)one afternoon. We knew each other in and out. It was amazing. anyways, we were just laying there facing each other talking and as she started to drift off to sleep the look of affection she gave me was so sweet and tender. I'll never forget it. Awww. thanks for that question. I needed that!

When, before my mom got really sick, she sat down next to me and gave me a hug and said "I love you" for the first time.
