Provera won't help you get pregnant. It is useful for women who get pregnant, then have a very early miscarriage repeatedly because the corpus luteum (the remains of the egg follicle) don't produce enough progesterone to support an early pregnancy. If this is your problem, you will get pregnant about as easily as you have in the past. Then, hopefully, the progesterone will keep the pregnancy safe until your body is able to take over the job later on.

If this isn't your situation, I would suggest you clarify with your doctor exactly what is going on...

The provera will help you have a period, but will not make you ovulate. Just because you have a period, that does not guarantee that you did ovulate. All Provera does is help shed your uterine lining. So, Provera doesn't directly help pregnancy.

I used Depo-Provera... I don't know if that's what you mean or not but that's birth control and it'll keep you from getting pregnant 3 months and sometimes longer... If you've been taking it for a few months, as in more than one injection, it can take up to a year to get pregnant after you go off.

Provera will not help you get pregnant. Provera is to help you have your cycles. I am on Provera to make me have my cycle then once my cycle starts I take Clomid to help me get pregnant. I take Clomid (200mg) on cycle days 3-7.
