yes, she was awesome, she had high expectations that she was able to meet herself, unlike alot of idiots who expect the moon but cant deliver the stars and she was consistent ,did not tolerate fuckups and *** kissers got nowhere but fired, she did not like brownnosers so they had to stop being incompetent or be gone! it was a truly wonderful experience to work with a bunch of professional competent people for once in my life, and I was starting to form a negative opinion of female bosses, until this person came along, now I see it is tolerating incompetent fools cause they are *** kissers that make for a failing business and severe employee frustration not female bosses who thrive on that stuff, I guess some men can be just as guilty of that corporate crime

Absolutely. His name was Richard and he was my boss at my first job ever. I was 16 and he was 25. He was a blast to have as a boss and actually hung out with a lot of us after work sometimes. He didn't even get too mad at me when I got plastered at work one day. He just told me to not let it happen again. And I didn't because I respected how he handled the situation. It was years later that I realized the whole time he was a manager for the store, he had been selling drugs out of the back room....hmmmm

I have one right now. He's very cool. He lets me take time off whenever I need. We sit and chat about our lives and laugh. He's more like a friend than a boss!!

I work at a church and before my boss went to another church to preach, he was probably the most laid-back one I had ever met. He was fun, nice, and when it was just me, Deirdre (my co-worker), he would come in, and we would just talk. And when my aunt died last year, he would call (when I had to take time off to mentally be ready for the funeral) to see if I was okay, or to see if there was anything he and the church could do. The day of the funeral, he called just to see if I was going to be okay enough to go to work that Sunday. I told him I would, but probably be a little solemn. He was totally understanding...

My boss is pretty cool. A bit inexperienced, but still good. A bit stressed out. But he's easygoing in his own way, and probably lets people get away with murder sometimes.

Yes, I work for my brother in his chiropractic office. He is a great boss. He pretty much lets me make my own hours, lets me take off when I need to for my kids, etc. It could be a nightmare, working for a brother, but we have always been close and gotten along very well.

I'm pretty sure this is an oxymoron.
This is especially true in today's business environment where, for some unexplainable reason, bosses refuse to acknowledge their employees as a valuable asset. They see them as an expense.

Yes, but they're hard to find. The ones who treat you with respect are cool and will get more productivity from those under them.
