NOT AT ALL! He's rap all the way but absolutely nooooo Hip-Hop G-d!!
I DO admire him for getting so far as a white rap-artist. He's lucky to have controled his image in the right way, to go so far as a white rapper.
Also, he has been around for quite a bit, but certainly not long enough to be considered a "legend". Madonna is a legend. Not Eminem's "Hip-Hop".
But, I guess you can say that considering his good career and public image, Eminem is a white rapper legend. He's made good progress and I wish him good luck in his career.

No. Artists who are considered legends of hip hop include Digital Underground, Run DMC, the Sugarhill Gang, N.W.A, 2pac, Biggie, etc...No way does Eminem's name belong up there with them.

He will rank somewhere in the rap echelon just above vanilla ice, but just below 3rd bass.

you can say that he is a legend white rapper,i think that he is way better than vanilla ice and beastie boys,he is a little bit above third bass.
but he is no where near rap legends like 2pac,nas,biggie and icecube(and the list goes on and on).
now,dont think that i'm a racist and saying that black rappers are better than him because he is white(i think he is better than 50cent who is a black rapper)......!

You can say whatever you want about him but you can't say that he's a bad rapper. MTV named him one of the top ten best of all time.
