In terms of skill I dont think ghana is any better. Remember ghana lost to italy the eventual group winner which the usa tied. ghana's 2 goals were freakish. Reyna was fouled when the first goal was scored and him lying in pain after the ball was taken away was proof and the replays showed the ghana player hit his foot when he tackled him for the ball. The penalty goal was a due to a good acting job by the ghana player and to my mind was a bad call. If you compare those goals of ghana with the well played beauty of a goal by the usa, i think in the final analysis the usa was robbed....

Because Ghana is going to take over the world and the first step in their plan is to win the world cup so it had to be done. The only reason they didn't beat Italy is b/c they didn't want to arouse suspicion. They currently are planning to complete taking over the world by 2015. Well, the US didn't play especially well. In my opinion, all throughout the games so far, the US played like they were scared to score. They're not a terrible team but when it comes to shooting goals they just waffle around and pass the ball from player to player instead of trying to get the ball in the net. If you look at other players (Germany's Ballack is a great example) they are constantly trying to score a goal, and even if they don't they go back and try it again. US doesn't do that.

We got outplayed, plain and simple. Seeing as how we only scored 1 goal in the entire tourney it's amazing we even came out with one tie.
