i dont know anything about bible and its sayings but my logic is that if thr r only two people i.e adam and eve that were walking thru this earth at first then lets think they have given birth to one or more babys and to extend the generations one of childs must have sex intercourse with his/her sibblings.Right? Then are we all born by a "not supposed "act of sexual relationship between a brothers and sisters?

I beleave that in the beggining God made it so that they could do that before it turned into a sin. That way they could multiply and populate the earth.

It's not actually a controversy at all. I hope I can help to add some clarity to the subject. First of all I must establish that God always makes a rule for the benefit of the human race both corporately and individually. So, when he installed the rule of no insest there was a reason. It was to avoid the whole issue of problems arising from a child being born of a limited flawed gene pool.

Now, when we look at when this law was impossed, it wasn't until the time of Moses. Not before. Why? Let's now go back to the garden of eden at the time of creation. Everything perfection. No sin or death in the world. Not even any form of genetic degeneration. Adam and eve had perfect genes. So it would have been perfectly acceptable and safe for their offspring to continue to reproduce. It wasn't until man sinned and thus brought death into the world (and subsequently genetic degeneration) that it eventually became nesessary to create the no insest law for the protection of mankinds future.

Since then, we have addapted our thinking to go along with this and it is now usually quite repulsive to think of having sexual relations with your sister. However in the pre-Mosaic times it would be a very normal act of marrying a sibbling.

The Bible does start with Genesis & the first two humans as Adam & Eve...it does not say these were the ONLY ones...how ignorant that would be...why would anyone on a roll creating thousands of planets, millions of creatures, plants, etc. only make 2 people? Mind you the Bible is a book of extremely editted parables...please extend oneself a bit of come-on sense...the Bible was not the first book, nor the only one...do a little research...it's very interesting.

Bible does say Cain took one of his sisters for a wife. Bible also says people at the time were living for sometimes up to 900 years or more, suggesting that we were closer to perfection at the time and so less likely to get birth defects. But if you think about it, if you were in the situation where you and your sister were the last people on earth, wrong or not if you want humans to survive you have to do something with your sister.

Because the bible is a myth, just like all the other creation myths out there. Do you really think there were gods living on Mt. Olympus like the Greeks belived? Well, some day people may look back on christianity with the same attitude we use looking back on what we call the "mythology" of the Greeks, Romans, Norsemen.....

Yes, in the beginning they were perfect and such close relationships were ok. Girls were not recored and probably most of the men unless they did something memorialable.
It would have only been a short time when two perfect people would have had a huge family and their kids had kids and so on within just my familys life it is amazing how big it got so quickly.

Where does it say that God didn't make other humans? The bible says Adam and Eve were the first, but I see nothing in there making them exclusive.

i've always been confused about this myself cause they teach you it's wrong to be oh an example would be "kissing cousins". but then they tell you this great story about adam and eve and say it's okay but only for them and only for a little while. so i guess it's just a matter of how religious are you to trust such a wild story.
