There are three branches Executive, Legislative and Judicial. What do you think is the branch of the Senate?? This is a third grade history question. I hope that you are not an American. Because it would be "shame on you" if you didn't know this.

The legislative branch . They are suppose to keep check on the Executive branch .
The Executive branch asks for a law . The Legislative branch gives it to him and the Judicial branch supports it or knocks it down . But does it work that way today ???
