My cousin (13) is about to wear her first bikini in public. Do you have any advice for her? She is kind of nervous (she is always shy). I cant get her to understand its ok if she doesnt want to wear one. So my question is whats an advice that could get her to think its ok or that she doesnt need to wear one?

It should not be a big deal. Actually, if anything, be happy for her!!!cheer her up, tell her she looks cool, and put a bikini on yourself - then run on the beach, and behave totally normally, go swimming, or lazy it, just as you normally do.

It isn't a special thing... it is just normal. help her feel comfortable with her body.

if she is shy because of her body, tease her a bit. i did that to a friend of mine. whistle at her when she walks wearing it. or tell her, "well screw it, i can't got to the beach with someone that looks better then me." it'll ease her off a bit and make her feel more comfortable with you.

If she's uncomfortable, she should wear a sarong or maybe get a tankini instead. What is she worried about? Her weight?
