When people say the "LB", what are they talking about? And what does it stand for?

In cricket it means Leg before, LB by itself is a short form of LBW (Leg Before Wicket). It means that the ball bowled by the bowler would have hit the stumps if it hadn't hit the batsman's leg. The batsman is out!
Of course, if the ball before hitting the leg.had even the faintest of nicks on the bat, then it's not LB, and hence not out.
Understood, if no, then try and understand the game of cricket, and then you will understand my explanation.

LB can mean Laguna Beach (the TV show or the actual place in California).
I remember someone from the show saying "drama in the LB." I believe it's called that because The OC is called The OC.
