I wouldn't call communists scum, they had a belief system with quite a few interesting ideas that do seem workable. They also had ideas that Karl Marx should have seriously known better than to believe would work out like he wrote they would work out. And I don't see what that has to do with lesbianism, legal or illegal.

As far as your daughter being a lesbian and now being married, any number of things could have happened. If you think about it (morals aside whether you believe it is wrong or not) its just skin, it should feel good as a rule whether you are doing it with those of the opposite sex or the same sex, so she may never have been lesbian at all but just liked the feel when she tried it once. Or she may be gay now and afraid of the consequences that usually come with bein gay, so she forces herself to continue in a straight lifestyle. There is probably quite a few situations I haven't thought of.

There's a difference between being a tomboy and being sexually attracted to members of the same sex.

Anyone who is reasonably fit physically and has an IQ over 75 can become a solder. Surviving combat requires as much luck as it does skill. It doesn't require or grant any superior judgment skills.

What would you have done to people who violate your proposed law banning homosexuality? Throw them in jail, fines, or execution? How pray tell would you have this law be enforced, a camera in every bedroom? Or would informants suffice? What standard of proof would you require for conviction? Would an accusation be enough, eyewitnesses, photographic proof?

You don't like lesbians, that's fine, you have a right to your opinion.

You don't have the right to force everyone to conform to your opinions. The fact that you don't like something doesn't make it a crime. A crime is defined as something that does injury, either physically, psychologically or financially. A little hot girl-on-girl action ain't hurtin' nobody. Treading on your redneck sensibilities is not a crime.

I'd also observe that you did a shitty job fightin' those 'communist scum', seeing as the communists are still in possession of the same amount of Korean real estate that they had when you first went over. Thanks for nothing.

Firstly, did you mean that you fought in Korea?
Secondly, what's that got do do with lesbians?
As for your daughter being a lesbian when she was growing up, perhaps she was going through sexual experimentation like many youngsters do.
I think your confusing being a tomboy with being a lesbian. Playing baseball doesn't mean that she was a lesbian. Maybe you're confused because you just can't accept that some people are different or perhaps you're just plain ignorant.
Why should it be illegal to be a lesbian?
If they make it illegal then they should make it illegal to be an ignoramus!!

Yeah, I'm not sure what communism has to do with being a lesbian.

Someones sexual orientation should never be illegal or legal. Part of living in a free society is that everyone has the right to privacy and the right be happy. Therefore, the law should never touch the bedroom when it comes to 2 consenting adults.

Lets look at it this way. Lets say that somehow the gays and lesbians took over the government, and tried to outlaw being heterosexual. How would that feel?

The government was never supposed to police the bedroom, so I don't believe that it should start. We need to stay true to the original declaration of independence, and let people have the right to pursue their happiness.

Fighting in Korea plus Communist scum plus Baseball (and everything) plus Lesbians could get use to men = daughter was a lesbian growing up but is now married with two kids.

Okay.

Ummmm.....
::scratches head::

Lloyd

Get those girls off from your yard by legal means and let up on this whole lesbians are communists thing. Didn't you hear? The Iron curtain fell, it's all over. All that's left are China - who's opening her doors to capitalism; North Korea - who's already kept at bay; an old man in Cuba and the very quiet country that is Albania - who just minds her own business.

Jesus was a communist (SMALL c) !

I hope you're daughter is very happy with her life and family.

Regards

first of all, what do you having fought in Korea have anything to do with being a lesbian? lesbians cant get used to men and won;t so deal with it. And if your daughter is a lesbian i feel bad for her cause she has a parent like you who probably made her pretend that she isnt. I hope she is happy and her kids make her happy but God why would you care about other lesbians in this life and why would YOU care if its legal, live your life and dont worry about others. you must be living a boring life if you have to disturb the life of other normal people.

Your logic is a bit to complex for little oll' me to follow - what does the fact you fought in Korea have to do with anything.
Lesbians can live with men, get married, whatever. It wouldn't change them being lesbians. Just because your daughter palyed sport doesn't mean she was a lesbian.
Sexuality isn't black and white. It's a spectrum. A women can be atracted mostly to men, mostly to women and anything in between, but you don't pick. You are the way you are.

What the Hell does your fighting in "Koera" have to do with lesbianism? If your daughter is married to a man and used to play softball, it could be A) because she was confused, B) because she was and is bi, or C) because she has always been straight! It's as proposterous to ban homosexuality as heterosexuality. both are innate qualities that one cannot "grow out of." You can fool yourself into suppressing your feeling for any sex, but they never truly go away.
Have a pleasant day.

Being a lesbian is not illegal and I doubt you daughter was a lesbian growing up. I used to play ball and climb trees when I was growing up too and liked boys at the same time.
