There are two Russia and Turkey
The Bospurus, the straight that lies between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea, is considered the boundry between Europe and Asia at Turkey. The city of Istanbul, biggest in Turkey but not the capital, is situated on the Bospurus making it the only major city in the world on two continents, though it is mostly in Europe. Despite being on two continents, the majority of Turkey is part of Asia. In fact the continents name originates from Turkey, as it was simply referred to as Asia in ancient times. However the Asian part is mostly desert except for various major cities on the Mediterranean and Black Sea's. The capital, Ankara, was obviously chosen because of it's central location, not due to any past importance. Though it is mostly in Asia, Turkey has expressed interest in joining the EU, this would obviously be for purely economic purposes.
The Ural Mts. in Russia is the rough boundry between European Russia and Asian Russia, also known as Siberia. Despite being mostly on Asian territory the majority of the Russian population lives in Europe, probably due to the mostly barren wastelands in Siberia.

Turkey!
"Turkey is a proud and ancient country which straddles two Continents, Europe and Asia."
Istanbul (also known as Constantinople, or Byzantium) is a city located in Turkey that also straddles two continents!
There are many other nations that straddle two continents, however. They are called transcontinental nations. The link below provides countless more:

There are five nations that straddle two continents.
1. Egypt, in both Africa and Asia
2. Turkey, in both Europe and Asia
3. Russia, in both Europe and Asia
4. Spain, in both Africa and Europe
5. France, in both Europe and South America -- because French Guyana is legally a part of France, not just a colony.

That would be Russia, except that technically speaking Europe and Asia are not two separate continants, they are really one continant inhabited by racist people who refuse to accept that they live on the same continant.

The Russian Federation and Turkey definitely. Sometimes Kazakhstan would be included on this list, and there would be some question regarding the Caucasus region as it depends on where the boundary between Europe and Asia is drawn. More information can be found at
