This song not only did it get a new lease of life by the remix version you've mentioned... but also by American Idol contestant, Elliott Yamin during one of the "themed" weeks.

DJ Sammy & Yanou featuring Do is who sings it...I have the non-remix version that's real slow, but I think they all sing both versions...you'll just have to use trial and error to find it. (Hey if you can get me the whole Gilmore Girls soundtrack as mp3's or wma's by tomorrow I'll give you the song and others for free!)
