Try runnign DiskCleanup, to see if it is indeed totally full, to run click

(for XP) Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup

Select your D drive, then wait a few minutes as it scans the drive for unneeded "junk" files. this can ake up to 10mins or more.

Once it's run, select teh files you wish to delete. (his will NOT delete your work, just the files windows automatically makes.)

this should free up some space on your D drive.

The D: drive is usually the cd rom drive. If it's full then the cd (if it's a recordable) is full and you can't fit any more on it. Usually most people have their software and files on the C: drive. If it's that one that's full then you need to remove some programs (add or remove programs under the control panel option) or buy an additional hard drive like I did. A USB hardrive that plugs into your computer and adds anywhere from 40 to 500 Gigabytes of space. Usually your local Best Buy (geek squad) or Circuit City can help you out with any questions you have.

If its a hard drive then run a "Disk Cleanup" Go to start->all programs->Accessories->System tools and then select disk clean up... Select ur D drive and click ok... windows will check for old unneccesary files used by it...if there are some then delete it... but this will help u to only a very minimum because it cleans only the files created by the operating system and the files in Recycle bin... so try to delete ur personal files that are no longer needed...
I hope this helps u...

Get an external hard drive.

Make it a bigger partition.

Are you on a network or home computer?
