that's superb! it's best to get some use out of them anyway, cars just hit them and students just steal them as beer trophies - you could consider it recycling... :o)

Tell him not to bother as this is a rather dangerous thing to use. Being a coach for over 10 years you only have to see a child dive and catch his face on the top of one once to never use them again. Teeth and blood all over the place if you're lucky.

Tell him to stop being tight and buy some portable goal posts. You can get them for £20-30

It sounds like a good idea to steal traffic cones for use as a goalpost.

that is a felony offence. Your husband should spend the money he would use retaining counsel and buy your poor son some goalposts he can show his friends with pride. Better than visiting his dad in remand. What a shame for him.

Sounds like a hint, dig deep in your purse and purchase the posts theyve always wanted before they consider stealing the road lining paint, for their perfect made pitch.

Mine suggested stealing one a while ago (just for the laugh) and I told him 'no way'. I know it seems like harmless fun and I guess well intentioned as its going to your son but its not a good example to your son - who knows it could be encouraging vandalism !!

Lads on our estate use traffic cones as goalposts. As for me...well I swiped a traffic cone when I was drunk once, and stuck it through someone's toilet window.

Perhaps that's worse!

I did it for my sons.
And
To-day they bring me back from night clubs , beautiful beer glasses for my private collection .
They go to night clubs very often.
It's nice to have sons who think about their Dad.
