What is the greatest source of happiness in your life? Why?

I'm curious as to what makes others really happy, and why. There are no wrong answers.

The greatest source is knowing that the Lord loves me and wants to help me so that I can return to him. On the non religious side is being with my family and knowing that all is well with us.

My paintings have been my constant source of inner joy and blissful peace. No other activity excites me more than facing a huge blank white canvas and the thrill of drawing the first few pencil lines, once the preliminary sketches is done,comes the thrill of laying on with a brush the first oil pigment, as stroke after brushstroke till the image which has been at the back of my mind starts slowly to unfold. Nothing gives me more satisfaction as when I see the painting takes on its own reason for being. I always try to keep my 'inner child' alive and make sure nothing blocks the creative expression which has been dying to come out. My paintings are my children and it is through them that I find meaningful existence in these worlds of confusion and madness. Art too is my way of giving back, sharing the memories and thanking for all the blessing in my life.

What makes me happiest is life. Laughing with friends and family. Looking at the sky and seeing a new picture every moment. Having the ability to love. Receiving love. Giving. Knowing that God is right beside me, directing my path. Chocolate fudge brownie ice cream. The warmth of the sun's rays. the sound of water.
There is good in all aspects of life, you just got to stop and look around. It's too hard to choose what makes one the happiest, it's a combination of things that provide me with this feeling.

My greatest source of happiness in my life is waking up to see another day
to spend time with my family and friends and also helping people who are less fortunate .everyday that i wake up i have a chance to experience something new like getting my first job , getting married, having my first child ,enjoying what i have right now living is my source of happiness .
My heavenly father , once life is gone it is only a memory that will be left behind .

Being a father to my four sons makes me the happiest. As to why, I'm not sure I could put it in words. My belief is that a parent's love for their child is the purest form of love. The love I feel for my wife and the mother of my children is powerful, but for my children it's overwhelming.

We are all different and don't always have the same things that make us happy. We can find out what makes us happy in life. When you don't feel well then try thinking of your own happy place. Think of a place where you don't need to worry or panic. A place where you enjoy yourself and smile and laugh and do what you love. When you find that place, you have found what makes you happy.

I think the greatest source of happiness in my life is to be in peace with myself. There are days in my life that I truly enjoy because life was simple that day with no questions left to answer. I think that in order to be happy with others and with yourself is that you have to be in peace with yourself
