With all of the hype surrounding ND, it seems that everybody has forgotten that their first four games are against Ga Tech, Michigan, Penn State, and Michigan State. They also have a trip to USC to worry about. Does anyone agree that they will have at least one loss, possibly two after the first four games? They have a terrible defense and I think they will struggle at the start of the year. Offense only takes you so far.

Ryan Don, Goergia Tech is a good team, Who did Michigan lose on offense? They have Henne, Hart, Breaston, and Manningham. Penn State is the worst of the four but they are going to be a solid team. And they have to go to Michigan State to play a great offense led by one of the best QB's in the country Drew Stanton. Don't answer if you don't know what you're talking about.

They can possibly be 1 and 3 after the first four. They should lose to Penn State and Michigan and Michigan State is going to be tough also. No problem over G Tech.

Michigan is the only real threat to ruining an "undefeated record".

Yes, GT has Calvin Johnson but when you have Reggie Ball throwing it to you, your not going to outscore ND with just one player.

Penn State is a Top-25 team, no doubt but I have real doubts with the secondary losing Phillips, Zemaitis and Harrell (I believe his name was that). Tamba Hali is also gone and the offense takes a huge hit with the loss of Michael Robinson. ND will outscore them too, I believe.

Michigan State has a pretty good chance at unseating ND. Stanton is perhaps the #2 best NFL QB prospect in CFB and they got a pretty good blend of Offense and D plus they got Larry Fitzgerald's little brother. (Correction, he plays for Marshall)

If Henne/Hart can stay healthy, I truly believe Michigan is going to be a team to contend with. Manningham is coming along great and Breaston is still a threat to be big.

Also, Offense only takes you so far? This is CFB, minus OSU and a few other teams they were no dominant Ds. Offense wins the BCS games if you haven't noticed (maybe minus the OSU-ND game).

They'll have losses to GA Tech, and Michigan for sure the first part of the schedule. My guess is that they will loose to USC as well. They don't have a great defense, only time will tell. All you Notre Dame fans out there, word to the wise... lower your expectations.
