Do it now...your life will be transformed. No need to wait till you're 65. Try it...tonight...you'll feel...invigorated, like you're swimming in a sea of bubbly water. And your evening food experiences will never be the same.

Or you could keep saying 'Dinner' and be stinky.

It's not an age thing. "Dinner" refers to the main meal of the day. When I was growing up, we ate dinner at night on 6 days and we ate it after Sunday morning church on one day a week.

"Supper" refers to either a light evening meal or the main meal of the day if it is eaten in the evening. And when dinner is eaten in the evening, I guess it would be correct to call the meal either "dinner" or "supper."

Most people aren't that precise about it. Whichever word you use, it means that you are going to eat.

It all depends on what side of the river you are raised on. I am only 34 and call the evening meal dinner but there is a difference between dinner and supper (I don't remember what the difference is though).

My grandpa has always called it that, he told me he even called it supper as a kid, so I don't think there is any age, I think it might have been slang for dinner back in the day.
