I have had a kind of light discharge since this morning but it's not thick like it ussually is...it's very light and thin, about the consistensy of water and it comes in little trickles in my panties of about alittle less than a teaspoon. It has no smell really and i can;t decide if its just a light discharge or if my water has broke. Im due anyday now. can anyone give me some way to identify weather it is discharge or fluid???

well i had the same problem a few weeks ago i thought my waters had broken my midwife told me on the phone to put on a pad and see how much comes out within the next hour or so and if there is still a fair enough comming out then head off to the labor ward. You might wanna go put a pad on now anyway and give ur obgyn or a midwife or the labor ward a quick call and they will tell you weather to come in or not. but i think it sounds like ur water bag is not compleatly broken but has a slight break in it which is the reason why it is comming out in little bits, which means that you again needa give them a ring they will more than likely have to compleatly break ur waters.

Yep, your water has broke! Mine did the same thing and I had my youngest about 6 hours later. I didn't go to the hospital right away though. I called my doctor and he said since I wasn't having contractions or in pain to stay at home a couple more hours. Call your doctor.

Sounds exactly like when my water broke. If you live close to the hospital you can probably wait until you are having contractions to go in. Call your doctor.

You'll know when you water breaks and it wont be just a teaspoon. If your worried about what it is go to your doctor.

It may be urine. I had that problem and the doctor told me that the baby was pressing down on my bladder and causing small amounts of urine to come out. When your water breaks you will know. It will be lots of water.

Possible its water, you dont start pains sometimes. I think you should go to the hospital

the only way for you to tell is to go to the hospital and they will do a test to see if it was your water and if it was not then they will send you home and if it was then they will keep you

well it could be a leak i would talk to a doctor asap about it. just incase. its not good to have a hole in the sac for to long, bacteria can get in. congrats and good luck with delivery!!!!
