I am not able to see backgrounds on my computer screen, it just white background with black letter,help ne one

I can see pictures, but the whole background is white. On my blogs it is the same way. There is no color at all.

It is the background of actual websites and it has been this way for a couple of weeks now. An example is on blog sites like xanga or myspace. I can't see the background and the letters only show in black even when someone has used a style sheet to decorate the page.

OK, if u want a background for your main computer screen, go to start and then got to control panel. Then click on appearance and themes. Then got to change desktop background which is the second one down. Then you can pick one from the list. If you have separate pictures on your computer, click browse. Then got to the scroll down arrow and click on my documents. When you get there click on my pictures, then you can choose one!
