Why is he doing it now?
It's going to really, really hurt and be out of commission for awhile...
I'm not fond of uncircumcised penises though, circumcised penises look better and are more sanitary.

Oh no. He really, really needs to think about that. Between the healing time and the pain, I can't imagine a middle-aged man (I'm assuming on his age), or any man over the age of 25 wanting to get that done. I personally don't have a preference. It seems like uncircumcised penises (plural penis? peni?) give more of a "reaction", rather than just getting hard and a little longer. I wonder what made him decide to do this now...

One of my exes was having problems with his foreskin ripping, and the doctors told him that he might have to get circumcised, he was 28 at the time. The doctor told him that if he had to get it done it was going to be very painful, so unless it is for medical reasons I would definitely not recommend it

I'd say don't do it, circumcision is a ritual mutilation (symbolic castration) being foisted on males by a medical establishment that is influenced by middle eastern religions.
It won't do much of anything besides causing problems during the healing process, a mutilated organ, and loss of sensitivity.
simple washing will maintain hygiene, any buildup of debris is natural and normal.

there's no risk of stds or anything thats bull. and anyone who tells you thst is just stupid. It actually decreases the std risk. And it's better for what you're holding in there too...
I'm Jewish, so it's in my religion for baby boys to get circumcised when they are 8 days old. It is true, the older you are, the more painful, but it is much better for your health.
And remember, how old was Abraham the Prophet when he got circumcised???.....hint...well over 90.....

I got circed as an adult & it is WAY better. My ex GF at the time said I felt bigger AFTER I had got cut. It doesn't smell like it used to. No foreskin between my pubes. My only regret was to not get it done tighter which i might do one day.
Get ya husband to get it done. to people who say it is mutilation - GET A LIFE!!!!!!!!!
By the way it wasn't too sore at all & I was able to have sex in 5 or so weeks later.
Good luck

Sex will be much more pleasurable for him (and you!) if he does NOT get circumcised.
p.s. It is NOT true that it is better healtwise to be circumcised. This is a myth that unfortunately the medical community seems to support. My husband is uncircumcised and he is very very clean. (cleaner than my circumcised ex-boyfriend too!!!)

YIKES !! It seems really late in the game for this but most of the info on the subject states it is better for hygiene purposes. In all honesty this is the exact time for professional consultations with more then one physician on the benefits and potential adverse reactions.

Circumcision is a kind of mutilation.
It should be done only if medically required.

I think you and your husband need to get some kind of help... I can't imagine a full grown man getting that done... is this only for sex...? In my opinion there is no difference.
