Yes they frigging well have! They blow things out of all proportion and now everyone is against it because troops are being killed. When we sign up we know that we are at risk of being mobilised to warzones and the consequences this can bring. I am only in the Territorial Army (reservists) and if my time comes to serve Queen and Country over in Iraq i will.

How dare the media report on events? What right do they have to report to the public the actions of their government and or actual events that are actually happening or have happened? It's almost like they think they should have a "free press" and this "free press" should be able to report on stories that the government doesn't approve of? What kind of Islamofascistcommunistliberaldemocratic garbage is that?
The media should only report good, wonderful stories of our government (unless they are Democrats) and since currently only good things happen, only good things get reported.
God Bless America...and no one else...ever...at any time...and only White Christian Conservatives...unless they have a gay in the family that hasn't been disowned.

Yes, I think so. Yesterday the New York Times revealed the method usa uses to trace al-queda funding on their front page. Tracing their money is how we prevent more 9-11's, and spot future attacks before they happen.

the inherent nature of the media jeopardizes everything....yet they have the freedom of speech and are not afraid to use it....what really got me was when the marines were landing on the beach in iraq during the first gulf war and the cameras were just rolling while the reporter was on the beach commenting on it....WTF???

Oh yeah, and I was a journalism major. When the President called the NYC Times not to print a story about the transfer of billions of dollars to the middle east, they literally told him to go to hell and they made it seem as if they're checking on your bank account and mine. (They'd be disappointed if they looked at mine.) They continue to warn the terrorists that we're investigating them because of their abject hatred of Bush. How can we win with this going on?
