You can buy "self piercing earrings" it takes about a week of pushing on them several times each day.The amount of time depends on how often and how hard you push them.My first ear was pierced by a friend using an ice cube to numb the ear, then pushing a threaded sterile sewing needle through it.I don't advise doing that.It hurt really bad and the hole was only the size of the thread left in the ear till it healed so I am limited to the earrings I wear. The second ear I used the self piercing earring.didn't hurt as much. But still was comparable to something short of giving birth!Go to a mall or jewelry store and have it done,it's fast and they have a spray they put on the ear to take the burning feeling away. You can usually get it done "earrings included" for 20 dollars. That price may be more or less depending on where you live and whether or not there is a special going on!

Don't do it. I have seen people lose ears to infection doing that and 90% of the time you put it in crooked. I assume you are young so mom and dad won't let you pierce your ears until you are 18. Be patient and follow mom and dad. You will regret it later if you try and do it yourself. If you are over 18, I am baffled because ear piercing is free.

first numb lobe with ice cube while soaking needle threaded with dental floss in alcohol (needle and floss both need soaking). Pierce ear by pushing the needle all the way through, leaving the thread in to keep the hole open. Tie the thread and cut off excess. Be sure to clean your ears with peroxide or alcohol three or four times a day and put neosporin on at bedtime for at least a week.

my sister did mine when i was about 10 and she took ice and held it on my ear until it was real cold and she sterilized a needle and stuck it through my ear i didnt feel a thing, then she put the earring in and did the same thing to the other ear...but i dont recommend this because my ears got infected and i had to go to the drs, when it got healed up i went to the mall and have it done with the gun and i never had any problems.

Well, there are differnet methods but the most tried and true is sterilizing a needle and then poking it through you ear and immediately putting the earrin in after removing the needle. Steriliztaion is important and, honestly, it's probably a better idea to go to get it done professionally.

you can use a sewing needle to do it, but i strongly advise against this.
home piercing is dangerous beause whatever pierces your ears needs to be sterilized or you could get an infection! your best bet is to get it done by a professional. Claire's stores has ear piercing for a good price.
it may be pretty to have pierced ears, but loosing an ear to infectionw ould be very non pretty

Ok, i did it. Put ice cubes on both sides of your lobe. Better mark the spot so you don't miss it. Disinfect a sewing needle with alcohol ( i used fire), and push as hard as you can. Then disinfect the lobe and use a gold earring for a week. That's it.

The stores used to sell these little earrings called sleepers.
You would sterilize them and keep pressing them into where
you want them to be on the lobe and wear them all the time,
you would have the openings and keep them opened while
they healed.
